TYPS, Almonte’s indefatigable youth group, is hosting films three nights during Bicycle Month at the Old Town Hall in Almonte, 14 Bridge St.
#1 Film night June 2, 2009 7:30 pm the classic coming-of-age movie Breaking Away, suitable for all ages
#2 Film night June 16 “The Urban Gardener” and “Taking Root” because gardening is cool, too
#3 Film night June 23 You Never Bike Alone An 80 minute documentary looking at how cyclists are building critical mass in Vancouver and changing the face of the city. It is the story of how a social movement grows and the people behind it. *contains some nudity

Film 1 is in fact on June 2, so there is no conflict (the type has been corrected — thanks for pointing it out). All films start at 7:30 and in lieu of cost, we are asking for a “free-wheel” offering to help defray costs. Whatever you’re comfortable with is fine. Thanks for your interest!
